Reminder for future reference.
Please be aware that the land to the top of the Bank at Holloways Bridge is actually owned by Mr & Mrs Hargrave who occupy the house and paddock behind the pegs from 273 to 289 please keep away from their fence and clear all litter as per the notices erected. Therefore the gate will only be opened for fishing use when permission is granted by the land owners, who will not be held responsible for any injuries whilst on this section of bank.

WHITTLESEY AA RULES FOR EACH PIKE MATCH

No Live baits Dead Bait only, anyone caught with live baits in the vicinity of their peg, even if eventually intended as dead bait will be disqualified. On no account must retaining Sacks or Nets be placed in the water before the start of the competition.  Only when Pike have been caught in the match and await recording by the section steward should they be employed

Each competitor will draw a peg number from which to fish.  He should position himself not more than one yard from the peg in either direction.

An angler who is playing a fish when the final signal is given will be allowed up to 15 minutes to land his catch.  No fish hooked after the final signal will count.

Anglers may fish with no more than two rods at a time, although any number of rods & tackle may be assembled on the bank ready to use.

You must hold a current E.A. rod licence and with need to show it when weighing in fish to qualify for prize money.

THE INFORMATION WE USE, RETAIN & HOW WE OBTAIN IT.
W.A.A MEMBERSHIP :- As part of joining the association each year upon purchasing a club book, individuals will provide us with certain information which is dealt with in the following manner.
All personal data obtained and stored by W.A.A is the minimum necessary and is considered essential for administration purposes of the Association.
DATA HELD (Collected on slip filled out when book is purchased)
1. Membership Type.
2. Name & Address.
3. Date of Joining.
DATA STORAGE.
1. The Membership slips are held securely by the Club Treasurer.
2. No Data is held Digitally.
USE OF DATA.
1. The Data is used for insurance purpose’s.
How long do we keep this Data.
1. The data is held until the auditing is completed and then destroyed at the beginning of the fishing season following it’s collection ( June 30th)
2. The Data held on the membership slips collected is securely shredded and disposed of.
W.A.A WEBSITE
1. There is no personal Data collected on the Website except in photographic form. The photo’s held within the Photo Gallery have been supplied by the persons within the photo or have consented to have their photo’s taken at the time.
2. If anyone no longer wants their photo displayed then you will need to contact the Association Secretary in writing.
Sharing Your Information Outside Of W.A.A
1. We do not share your personal information with any organisation outside of W.A.A with exception made to Law Enforcement Agencies & our Insurance Company should a claim be raised, if correctly requested.
SECURITY.
W.A.A is committed to ensure the security of your personal data. Data slips once collected are secured in locked boxes and held by the Treasurer.
YOUR RIGHTS.
1. W.A.A members have the right to find out what personal information is being held and to correct or update it.
2. That information being held is no different than that submitted when applying for membership.
